Client Grievance Policy and Procedures

IF YOU ARE DENIED SERVICES for any reason by Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc., and you wish to have that decision reviewed, you may contact the Executive Director of Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc., either by writing him at P.O. Box 551, Harrisonburg, VA 22803, or by telephone. (If you live near Harrisonburg, call 433-1830; otherwise, you may call, toll-free, 1-800-237-0141.)

You must do so within 30 days of the denial of service. If you are not satisfied with the Executive Director’s decision, he will advise you further regarding your appeal rights to a member of the Client Grievance Committee of the Board of Directors of Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc.


IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF SERVICES we are providing, you may complain to the Executive Director of Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc., at the address and telephone number set forth above within 30 days of the act or omission with which you are dissatisfied. If he is unable to resolve your complaint, he will advise you further regarding your appeal rights to the Client Grievance Committee of the Board of Directors of Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc.
