James (Jim) Clough is a staff attorney in the Harrisonburg office. Jim has practiced law in the area since 1985 with an emphasis on family law and consumer bankruptcy. He graduated magna cum laude from Bridgewater College, with a degree in history and political science, and is also a graduate of the TC Williams school of law at the University of Richmond.

Jim has previously served as a guardian ad litem for children in local courts and also has served in the past as a substitute judge.

He previously served as treasurer of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham bar association. Jim joined BRLS in 2019. He makes his home with his wife, Julie in Bridgewater, along with an unreasonable number of pets.
