Calissa N. Hiligh joined BRLS as the Elderly Services Attorney in the Harrisonburg office in October 2022 focusing on the unique legal needs of older adults. Prior to joining BRLS, Calissa was a Staff Attorney at Senior Legal Services in Baltimore, Maryland with a primary focus on the legal needs of older adults who faced abuse, neglect, and exploitation. A Baltimore City native, Calissa N. Hiligh received her Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence from the University of Baltimore in Maryland and her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law in Ohio. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland (since 2017) and in Virginia as a Legal Aid Attorney (since 2022).
